Karnataka German Multi skill Development Centre (KGMSDC) is a Government owned financially autonomous Society formed by the State Government, under Society's Registration Act. The registered society has members from Government of Karnataka, representatives of industries, Chambers and Academia. The Additional Chief Secretary. Department of Skill development, Entrepreneurship & Livelihood, Govt. of Karnataka is the Chairman, Commissioner of Industrial Training & Employment will be the Member Secretary of the Governing Council. German International Services (GIZ-InS), an authorized body of Government of Germany which provides technical support for project implementation. KGTTI Extension Centre has been established at Karkala. The skills training facility provided at each center has been bench marked with International Standards to cater to the needs of emerging industrial requirements. Short term courses & Internship programme offered at KGTTI Mangaluru are as follows:

3. Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA)
4. Refrigeration & Air-conditioning (RAC)
5. Advanced Welding (SMAW, GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG/MAG)
