The GN JERBI Foundation – NIDHI DST iTBI Center is a leading incubation and innovation hub established at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) Bidar with support from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) Government of India under the NIDHI scheme.

With a sanctioned project cost of ₹4.99 crores the center supports startups and innovators in IT/ICT AgriTech DairyTech Waste Management MedTech Biotech and Cleantech. It operates from a dedicated space of over 7000 square feet with 36 workstations 30 startup arena seatings a conference room smart learning facilities and 300 Mbps internet. The center is equipped with advanced labs for AI/ML AR/VR 3D printing CNC machining electronics prototyping and hydroponics.

More than 17 startups are currently being nurtured at the center and over ₹39 lakhs has been disbursed as seed support. We are also a Host Institute under NAIN 2.0 of the Karnataka Startup Policy and a Program Monitoring Partner for RGEP by the Government of Karnataka.

Our mission is to foster technology-driven entrepreneurship empower student innovators and build a self-sustaining innovation ecosystem across the region. We promote inclusive innovation through initiatives like WEscalate that support women-led startups and focus on sustainable product development and commercialization.
